On Saturday 28th March, MBIS had the pleasure of hosting the BSME Egypt Young Musician Competition, bringing together talented students from across BSME Egypt schools for a full day of music and shared experience.

This event was shaped by a simple but meaningful idea: to create a platform where young musicians can perform with confidence, gain meaningful experience, and enjoy a truly special day of music. Hosting it at MBIS allowed us to bring that vision to life in a way that felt both purposeful and memorable.

We are especially proud of our own students, who represented the school with confidence, focus, and genuine love for music.

The mixed jury awarded MBIS First Prize in the BSME Young Musician of Cairo (Level 4 and above) to Leo, while Ben and Martina also placed among the top four. Martina was further recognised with the Promising New Musician Award.

Beyond the results, what stood out most was the atmosphere: students supporting one another, sharing the stage, and making the most of every moment.
