At MBIS, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our carefully planned and inclusive trips provide students with unforgettable experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning. These opportunities are designed to build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills, helping students develop independence and adaptability in new environments. Whether exploring historical sites, engaging in outdoor adventures, or tackling real-world challenges, our students return with new perspectives, stronger connections, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
We aim to offer all students in Year 4 and above the opportunity for at least one residential trip per year. These experiences support both academic and personal development, encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and cultural awareness. Parents of participating children are asked to cover the costs of residential and educational visits, ensuring that each trip is well-resourced and enriching.
A Trips Booklet is available at the start of each academic year to assist parents with planning and selecting the most suitable opportunities for their children. In the secondary school, participation in residential trips within Egypt is strongly encouraged, with additional opportunities for international travel also available. These experiences help students develop independence and leadership in a global context, reinforcing the values of responsibility and exploration that we nurture at MBIS.
