We are delighted to share the excellent news from the recent BSME Games in Abu Dhabi and to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students, who represented MBIS with such pride, determination and sportsmanship. Competing against strong schools from across the region, our team performed superbly, finishing an impressive 8th overall. This was a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the teamwork, resilience and commitment shown by every student throughout the event.
A special congratulations must go to our girls’ football team, who produced a truly outstanding performance by winning the competition on Day 1. Their skill, organisation and teamwork were evident throughout, and they were deserved champions.
Individual success was also highlighted by Aaron, who was named Athlete of the Day after winning all three of his athletics events. His performance in the 100m, where he recorded an excellent time of 12.63 seconds, was particularly impressive and showcased his speed, focus and competitive spirit. Great success was also had in the girls’ track and field, where Sophie achieved the silver medal for the javelin, a wonderful result, and all students gave their maximum effort while competing!
Beyond the results, our students were praised for the way they conducted themselves throughout the trip, acting as excellent ambassadors for MBIS at all times. We congratulate everyone involved for their hard work, positive attitude and for representing our school so brilliantly. We are so proud of all of our students that participated!
